Our first stop is the verdant and representative village of Crete, Potamies. We visit our traditional shepherd's farm where we will do many local activities such as the milking of the goats. Additionally we will taste traditional products such as fresh olive oil with herbs, freshly made cheese by the shepherd and rakomelo.

We will then start our interactive local cooking classes! Let's take a dip into the Cretan Gastronomy by joining our local host in crafting authentic Cretan dishes using fresh, local ingredients. We will dive into the heart of Cretan cuisine and we will let the aromas take us on a journey!

Next stop is the Aposelemis dam, the largest water supply project in Crete. The village of Sfendili is submerged in the waters of the dam with its impressive old houses fading on the surface of the water. Also a natural wetland with a variety of birds.

We climb uphill on dirt roads to the gorge of Embassa as a result to experience impressive mountains and wildlife with unique views. This presents a great opportunity to collect some local herbs and learn about Cretan nature.

Στη συνέχεια, θα κάνουμε μια στάση στη μεγαλύτερη γραμμή ανεμόμυλων στην Κρήτη, που βρίσκεται στην είσοδο του Οροπεδίου Λασιθίου. Εδώ, θα έχουμε μια πανοραμική ευκαιρία για φωτογραφίες και θα μάθουμε για την ιστορία των ανεμόμυλων στην Κρήτη!

Συνεχίζουμε για το Οροπέδιο Λασιθίου. Φιλόξενος τόπος με αυθεντικούς ανθρώπους. Επίσκεψη σε εργαστήριο κεραμικής για τα μυστικά της κεραμικής τέχνης καθώς και συμμετοχή στο μάθημα για τη δημιουργία των δικών μας κεραμικών!

Χρόνος για περιήγηση στο Οροπέδιο και επαφή με τους κατοίκους του. Επιπλέον θα κάνουμε μια στάση στα τοπικά καφέ για να κάνουμε ένα διάλειμμα.

Κατεβαίνοντας θα σταματήσουμε στο γραφικό χωριό Κράσι. Ανεβαίνουμε σε χωματόδρομους προς το φαράγγι της Έμπασσας, όπου θα γνωρίσουμε την εντυπωσιακή ορεινή και άγρια φύση με μοναδική θέα. Αυτό προσφέρει μια εξαιρετική ευκαιρία να συλλέξουμε τοπικά βότανα και να μάθουμε για την κρητική φύση.

Μπείτε στο χαρακτηριστικό κρητικό εστιατόριό μας. Απολαύστε τοπικά πιάτα αργομαγειρεμένα από τον παραδοσιακό ξυλόφουρνο μας, άψογα συνδυασμένα με τοπικά κρασιά. Δοκιμάστε την αληθινή ουσία της Κρήτης σε κάθε απολαυστική μπουκιά!
Ολοκληρώνουμε τη μέρα μας με μια ξενάγηση στο εργοστάσιο ελαιολάδου, όπου θα ξεναγηθούμε για να μάθουμε όλες τις λεπτομέρειες της εξαγωγής του ελαιολάδου. Επιπλέον, μετά την ξενάγηση θα έχουμε την ευκαιρία να απολαύσουμε αυθεντικό τοπικό ελαιόλαδο και τοπικά προϊόντα.

Έχοντας απολαύσει μια διαδρομή με όμορφες εικόνες, επιστρέφουμε στο ξενοδοχείο σας γεμάτοι αξέχαστες εμπειρίες!

In case the supplier of the activity cancels a tour for any reason, you have the option to set a new date from the available ones that we will suggest or receive a full refund. The cancellation of the trip, change of itinerary, or delay in the program may occur for safety reasons during a natural disaster, fire, dangerous weather, generally dangerous situations, or in cases of total or partial damage of the supplier of activity vehicle or the illness of a customer or driver that can affect the safe conduct of the excursion and may endanger the safety of all participants.
