Lindos is a picturesque village located on the east coast of Rhodes. For history enthusiasts, Lindos is a must, housing the most important archaeological site of the Island –the ACROPOLIS of Lindos, situated on top of the hill. (The Entrance fee for visiting Acropolis is 12,00 euros). Every day countless travellers find themselves awestruck while admiring the 4th century BC temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. The view from the top is breathtaking! You can’t miss the heart of the village, the Church of Panagia in Lindos, a small but intricate chapel that features a typically Rhodian campanile tower, with an impressive pebble mosaic floor.
The picturesque alleys, the breathtaking view, the traditional aromas and the cosmopolitan feel of the village make this an evening, walking tour you shouldn’t miss!
You will have 3 hours of free time to explore Lindos. Τhe estimated time for our stay in Lindos is from 18.00 pm to 21.00 pm. You can explore the archaeological site (last visitors accepted in 19.15 pm) or walk through the village discovering its stylish boutiques and souvenir shops. Sightseeing, retail therapy, exploring historical sites, dining, having a cocktail in a rooftop bar… there are just so many options for everyone to have the most amazing time.
